Uni what?

So i had been questioning a group of Universalists for a short bit in a facebook group and I am willing to admit they put up some scriptures that are understandable as to why they believe in universalism, but I am not saying that they converted me. I knew that yes they used scripture to defend themselves but there are also scriptures that tear down the universal belief. Lots of scriptures that a universalist will provide usually say something about God in ALL of us, or THROUGH all of us. They take the “ALL” to mean everyone in the world. Those that are not new to cherry picking can, for the most part, read the context around each scripture and realize that taking the “all” to mean everyone in the world is very faulty, and here is why.

I was seeking the Lord on this and he showed me something very simple to understand about the epistles and the letters to the churches. He showed me an orientation room like the theme park “universal”. He showed me that in an orientation for a job these orientations will say words like, “here is where all of you will enter to go backstage”. Now of course they don't mean everybody when they say “all of you”, they would be talking to the employees. Same goes with the epistles to the churches, we must understand that these letters are literally sent to CHURCHES, a body of people that are already believers. We know they are already believers by what paul says when he lists off things that will hinder people from entering the kingdom of heaven and then follows it with, which were some of you but now you have been washed by the blood. Paul makes it clear who will not enter as well as Jesus makes it clear as to who are the sons of God and sons of disobedience.

So to conclude this blog, if we simply go back to the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, we would clearly see that even Jesus, God in the flesh, makes distinct differences of who was who. Why do you think he knew the Pharisees' heart? He knew their thoughts were evil, but he also knew that they understood what goodness was, nevertheless he still made it very clear that there was a heaven and hell and that people needed to be reproved of what they were doing and how they were living. If they are not for me then they are against me. Why would someone want to even be in heaven if they never make a conscious decision of repentance? Okay I feel I am going to go down a rabbit trail so I will end it here.

God bless you all in the name of Jesus. Amen
