When Christ Appears

 There is a verse in Colossians chapter 3 that stood out to me recently. It says "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." Col 3:3-4

The word that stood out to me in this passage is the word "appears". This word also means "manifest". When I realized that, it opened up plenty to think about. When we have encounters with the Lord that is him appearing, manifesting himself to us. Think about what happens when we are with others that have not received salvation yet Jesus appears right in front of them, you see Him appear but the other person does not, therefore you are being glorified in that moment with Christ. 

On the other hand, if there was someone that had seen Jesus in a dream and got born again within the dream, he too had the encounter with the Lord appearing, manifesting himself. I believe this is also works with a salvation mindset, we may be worried that we have not received full salvation yet when Jesus comes to us with a special encounter then we know that we have died and are hidden with him.
