Do it because you love God
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Peace flows from doing things out of the love of God, when we do things outside of the will of God we step into chaos. Have you ever done something because you felt bad for the person? or went somewhere because somebody wanted you to go with them? These things are usually done through an emotional response, which is very good at pulling on the heart strings.
We must do things out of the fear of the Lord! THAT is where our peace comes from! Hearing the inward dwelling word, and obeying. The fire of God is there to refine us! Pursuing Christ, not pursuing an emotional reaction!
Sacrifice is an abomination to the Lord, for he desires mercy.
The fiery love of God burns up sacrifices that were never meant to be, love is the only way!
May peace hit you like an elephant stomping the ground as you step out in the love of the father.
