50 Shades of Grey!

Yes that title was click bait. But there is a real issue with the gray area mindset. Ive gotten hit with this before "andrew life is not black and white there are gray areas". Why do people think there are gray areas? Is it because they do not want the full truth? Are they afraid that the truth will point back to them?

We must understand that having a gray area means we are not confident in our decisions and life choices. Even if they are the best life choices in our own eyes there will always be a gray area if you are not confident in that life choice. For as long as I can remember I have been a black and white type of person from my favorite color to my mentality and ESPECIALLY to matters of the spirit. In matters of the spirit you are either walking in love which is all truth or you are walking in darkness which distorts, manipulates, controls, and gets angry when things are not going the way that its trying to control it to go. Now this black and white mindset does not mean that I am better or think that I am better than anybody, it simply means that I go after the truth in love. I want the truth in honesty. I want the truth in what my calling is or in what your calling is. Seeing each person set free from bondage's  and false mentalities, you know, all the gray areas in their life, is part of the black and white mindset. Alot of times from what Ive seen is the gray area mindset comes with arrogance, fear, worry about life, death, little things that seem complex yet are super simple to the trained mind. Again not saying that as a "better than you" but saying that from a perspective of one that has seen what double mindedness can do and how it reacts to everything in life.

James 1:2
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.

The gray area mindset takes on the victim spirit. The verse mentioned above is to help cope with things that seem to be against you. "why is this happening? why did they do this to me? what did i do wrong?" its not about any of that. Its changing the perspective. Is what i just encountered life giving or death? Does it bring joy or not? If not then why hold onto it?
Consider it pure joy when you go through all trials because not only does the joy help you see clearer as to what to do in the trial but that you can then look forward when trials come from the victorious mindset of "oh this is just another trial, i can get through this".

Be Blessed!
